No prior security experience is required for the currently enrolling Florida Class D or Tennessee initial unarmed-guard training. State eligibility and application requirements still apply separately.
It depends on the state program. Florida Class D applicants generally need a minimum of 40 hours of professional training from a licensed school or training facility. Tennessee unarmed guard registration requires 4 hours of initial general training, and Tennessee renewal requires 2 hours of refresher training before renewal.

No. Qualified graduates may apply for Hammerhead Security openings, but training completion does not guarantee state licensure, registration, employment, or assignment to a particular post.
